Custom Tees- How it works!

Lewis and Haase love to create custom tee prints. Each client will be assigned one of our designers who will work closely with each customer. We want to help you turn your ideas into reality by designing and creating your perfect tee. We incorporate style, and meaning into our designs and will gather information to help develop and finalise your design.

Bespoke clothing need not be expensive as you define your own budget.

Stage One – Getting Started

It helps to browse through current designs in the Lewis and Haase online store or other tees you like the look of and gather some rough ideas and inspiration for the sort of design you might like, along with a rough budget (lowest to highest). The rough budget from the start always helps with the designing process, so we can suggest ideas to suit this. Do not worry if you are stuck for ideas and inspiration at this early stage; that is what the design stage is for. And remember to tell us who the tee is for, your daughter, your best friend, your Mum or even your grandmother.

Stage Two – Initial Designs

This is when you discuss your ideas and budget with our Lewis and Haase designer - email contact is always easier as we can send over sketches when needed, and keep your information on record. After initial sketches and/or ideas, you are encouraged to give feedback and contribute your own ideas to the designs.

Stage Three – Design Stage

The next stage is to develop and refine first ideas into real designs! This is where you can really see the ideas and concepts coming together. We try to work closely with all clients - before, during and after the bespoke design process. If the bespoke tee is for a gift, we can send you some photos via email of your tee 'in the making' so that you can see exactly how it has been made from start to finish. (This can be done upon request before the project has been started).

Stage Four - Production

We will hand-construct a silkscreen frame and hand-glue the stencil. Please note that bespoke pieces takes between 4-6 weeks to complete depending on the waiting list and complexity of your project. When your t-shirt is complete, it will be sent out to you by Royal Mail secure and signed for delivery service.

Payment

Once you are happy with your design specifications and have confirmed via email that all details are correct and that you are ready to go ahead, we can proceed with your order. Payment for bespoke tees need to be made before we can proceed with an order.

Once an order has been placed, no major changes can be made and it cannot be cancelled. Any changes made to an order after acceptance of specifications and payment may incur a charge. No cash refunds will be given on any bespoke piece.

Lewis and Haase accept payments via Stripe or Paypal. We won’t allow you to make the payment for your bespoke piece until we know you are completely happy with the design and ready to proceed.
